The following social events are currently scheduled for members and friends of Dukinfield Cricket Club for 2002:

9th February.	The Crowes	The ever popular band are back at Dukinfield CC. Tickets £6.50
18th February.	Annual General Meeting	All members are requested to come to the AGM. There will be some important propositions and announcements made on the evening. You should receive your invite and agenda by the end of January.
February/March. Date to be finalised.	Players Meeting	Come along to vote for your team captains and vice-captains for the new season.
March 2nd.	Race Night	The return of the Race Night after an absence of three years. Sponsor a race, sponsor a horse, or just come along for a night of fun, and maybe win a few quid. More details to follow.
April 4th.	Annual Sportsman's Dinner	The Sportsman's dinner will again be held at the Cricket Club. Guest speaker is Jeff Miller (Derbyshire & England, current England selector). Star comedian is Mike Farrell. MC is Malcolm Lord (GMR Rugby League comentator). Auction of sporting memorabilia (hopefully including some MCFC stuff this year). Tickets are priced at £25 each. April 27th.	Start of Season Bash	After the first game, re-acquaint yourself with the people you haven't seen during the cold, dark winter months.
May. Date to be finalised.	Annual Golf Day	The annual golf day returns at Ashton Golf Club. Stableford Competition rules apply. Tickets are priced at £35 each (£140 for a team of 4). Individual and team prizes available. Price includes 5 course dinner and comedian. All enquiries to Pete Taylor.
June 29th.	Summer Barbecue and Disco Part I	Big Mike will get his big barby out and Wilbur will spin some tunes.
July 27th.	Summer Barbecue and Disco Part II	Here we go again....
September 14th.	End of Season Knees-Up	After the last game, say goodbye and good riddance for another season.
October 5th.	Annual Dinner	Annual dinner and awards ceremony. Tickets priced at approximately £20. See Andrew Day for details.
